deviantart – Ugh

am so sorry about not being around. College has begun to kick my ass… papers, short stories, poetry… tons of crap due on pretty much the same day…. I have been ill-prepared as of late, it seems…

I won’t make any promises about updates for now, on account’a the only reason these two are up here is because I needed something to do between assignments, and its pretty much midnight here so I figures “why they hell not?”

anyhow, I will make some kind of grand return eventually… but gimmie some time…

I love Frank Miller’s Sin City graphic novels. Ever since I found out they were going to make a movie I knew it would be good.

Go see this film. Then buy the books. You will thank me, Frank Miller, and yourself.

I stand by the review of the film and the (first few) graphic novels. That first book about Marv is a classic for the ages.

Sorry for the lack of updates… I know I said I’d have something up by Tuesday, but truth be told I’ve only managed to do a page and a half…

Some stuff has come up recently that’s kept me away. Girl troubles, school troubles, and the like. I’m hoping to get through this all very quickly and sober. Ha ha…

Yeah, I’ve made up my mind; after everything else is pretty much up on and archived, I’ll go back and upload the art/poetry/etc. from this site. Why? Oh Jesus, who knows.

So I’m alone and single and all that horrid stuff. So I drew a bunch of comics and then took some “Magic Meds” to take my mind of stuff (ex: caffine).

Caffeine is spelled wrong. But I guess “magic meds” could cause a typo. That or pure idiocy. With Young Skyler, who knows?

Oh yes, with deviation #150, I’m back for real. Thanks for holding out with me!

Anyhow, Skyler might have two new characters joining him, as he has somehow become the main character in the comic, so I might as well make major characters. Look for them in upcoming comics. (One will be returning from the gutter, the other will be a friend of mine in REAL LIFE! Shocking, I know…)

If I tried to get back in touch with anyone that ever read any kind of social presence I had with consistency, it would take more effort than I probably have left in my life. That’s why I leave names and copy comments – if someone stumbles upon this and wants to reach out, they have the tools. I ain’t forcin’ myself on anyone.

deviantart – Poop

I’m in an off-place…

I’m sad, in a lot of ways, because of 2004. Not that I’ll miss it, but because the year itself was just… sad for me. Lots of ups and major downs. Some people died, the day my sister died (which was 2 years ago) came and went. October drug on and on and on (I hate that month)…

I was very depressed and hated myself for a huge chunk’a time in early 2004. Very sad’n stuff. I guess… I’m glad to see it go. I wasted the entire year…

2005 will be different (I hope). More productive, more “on the level.” But I have changes to make. So I will see everyone again around the 20th of this month. But, maybe, there will be some random Age 19s floating around…

Young Skyler was always in an “off place”.
I assume I was waiting for Jan 20th so I could get back to Drake.
2004 was a rough start to college and “adulthood” but, well, if you’ve followed this archive at all (in chronological order, at least), you know this of Young Skyler’s journey. It gets better, if you’re just joining us. But it has to get a lot worse, first.
