The Drake University bookstore took so much of my precious time. I never really hated it per se, but I absolutely did spend a ton of money on stupid books.
Years later? I’m not ashamed to admit that I stole a few books from that place. If anyone from the bookstore reads this, I’m sorry.

Here’s a funny story: My friend Paul Johnson gave me a ripped CD of KMFDM’s “Nihil” album and I loved it. Got a bunch of their other stuff. Fast-forward years later and he asks if I’ve heard of them and I’m all “yeah, dude, you introduced me to them” and he’s like “I have no clue what you’re talking about.”
