HM – Take That, Jesus!

last night i called Jesus a pussy and told him to grow some balls.

its, like, new years eve or something. i’m going to go back and read my posts about it from last year but, i can be sure, this year’s will be very similar as Zak got another season of the Simpsons for christmas. last year the two of us stayed up and ate my mother’s crab dip until the early hours of 2005. should be fun to try to do again this year.

 

Four Brothers is a movie about love, family, sticktogetheredness, and violence. And, to top it of, its fun to watch!

Blasphemy at its finest.
I do believe, instead of watching Simpsons all night, I was on the phone with Amber Tobler until one or two in the morning, instead. Young Skyler let himself get friendzoned a lot, by the way.
If this is the start of that tradition, it was also the start of the tradition of Zak being pissed at me all night and usually for a good 24 hours after, too.

HM – Nearly a Pound of Fun

oh, yeah.
my knee is banged all to hell after ramming into my own computer tower. that was a dozen ounces of fun.

adam: when is the earliest i can come back?
the extended Sin City is pretty cool, looks to have some awesome extras but i was tired after watching it last night so i’ll shut up now.

There are few extended cuts of movies that are better than the original one, and Sin City is one of those films. I just wish they had the extended cuts fused into one movie, structured like the theatrical cut. Instead, they are split into their individual stories and, while OK, it breaks the flow.

Team Ico can, in my opinion, do no wrong. They can do “Great” and “Even Greater” but not “Wrong”.
Don’t bother with Beta Ray Bill.
My mom LOVES Buffy. So glad I got my whole family on that one.

well, the day is pretty much over.

pete and debi were here. they got me two comic book subscriptions (Runaways and Astonishing X-Men, which is done by Lord Whedon himself)
zak got me the excellent Toothpaste for Dinner book, being the best coffee table book ever made.

and my folks got me a lot of good stuff. i got the third Artemis Fowl book (finally!), Ultimate X-Men vol 4, Runaways vol 1, some DVDs (War of the Worlds, Die Hard, etc), and Ico for the PS2, which I’ve been dying to play since Shadow of the Colossus (best game of 2005?)
anyhow, i guess… hope everyone out there had a decent christmas (at least). and i hope everyone has corn-cob pipes and panflutes to look forward to (aka New Years)

If I’d gotten any closer to Erin back then I would have been friendzoned so hard that my picture would be next to the word in the dictionary and my story would be used to describe the term for future generations.
SotC absolutely was the best game of 2005. Though Metacritic says it was Resident Evil 4. They are liars.

HM – Sorrow

i had a sad dream last night.

we had cloned my sister, sarah, and got her memory and age right back to where she last left off… she was healthy and bright and happy and it was just depressing. it just wasn’t right. it didn’t feel right at all and that was also sad because we had obviously spent a whole lot of money.

no one wanted to say anything about it to her or each other, but we all knew.

Damn, Jesus, dude. That is a horrible dream.
I don’t have much else to add to that, other than the fact that I’m glad I don’t have many Sarah dreams, these days. Miss her dearly, but only when she’s not coming at me all fucked up.
